When in Germany one expects to hear a little of Bach’s music.
It’s an added delight when it is beautifully presented by a small group of young Indonesian singers, members of the Martin Luther Church Indonesian community in Neukölln, Berlin.
Here they are warming up for the 10 am worship – any congregation would be pleased to have such young talent in their midst: They were running through Wer mich liebet, der wird mein Wort halten (Whoever loves me will keep my word), BWV 59. This cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach was composed for Pentecost in 1724, drawing words from various sources including John 23.
All is forgiven. Please come home: we’re missing you both.
Great to hear from you. – agree with David and Trish. xj
